FORT FEAR Horrorland returns to FORT FUN Abenteuerland in 2026 with a new story. “Und wenn sie nicht gestorben sind …” brings twisted fairy tales into the established world of the secretive S.O.M.N. organisation. The outdoor maze THE FOREST is also returning.
2026 dates
Regular FORT FEAR nights take place on 17, 23, 24 and 31 October 2026. Normal park operations begin at 10am, while the horror programme is scheduled from 4pm until approximately 10pm. A separate adults-only Hallow Eve Special runs on 30 October, from 3pm to 11pm, for visitors aged 18 and over.
What is new in 2026?
The new storyline sends familiar fairy-tale figures through a portal created by S.O.M.N. The organiser references the Pied Piper, Little Red Riding Hood, Snow White, Rumpelstiltskin, Mother Hulda and Struwwelpeter. For visitors, the practical point is that street entertainment and several horror attractions share a dark fairy-tale framework this year.
The outdoor maze THE FOREST returns. FORT FUN also lists Frau Hølle, Hollow Oaks Clinic, Physia and EGO:MORPH. Programmes and operating conditions can change, so check the current attraction page shortly before travelling.
Tickets and how the evening works
Entry to regular FORT FEAR is included in a normal FORT FUN park ticket. The horror mazes are different: they require additional limited tickets with allocated time slots. Booking online is sensible, especially for Saturdays. Reduced late-entry tickets from 3pm are also available.
The Hallow Eve Special follows a different model. It is strictly for adults aged 18 and over and includes repeated access to most horror attractions; EGO:MORPH still uses a time slot according to the organiser.
Before 4pm on regular event days, FORT FEAR characters remain inside the houses. Families can therefore spend the earlier part of the day in the park before the upper area switches to the horror programme. Guests aged twelve and above may not enter in costume, as they could be confused with scare actors.
Who is it for?
FORT FEAR suits visitors who want to combine a normal theme-park day with a compact horror event. The western town, wooded terrain and rides after dark create a setting quite different from a standalone indoor haunt. Visitors aiming to complete several mazes should coordinate time slots in advance and allow enough time to move between attractions.
The Hallow Eve Special is the stronger option for adults looking for a denser evening without daytime family programming. Weather-resistant clothing is useful for either version because parts of the experience take place outdoors.
Visitor perspectives from previous seasons
External reports can convey a sense of atmosphere and visitor flow, but they do not confirm the 2026 programme. Freizeitparktesterteam’s FORT FEAR 2025 experience report describes the combination of mazes, show and event grounds from one visitor perspective. It is useful as supplementary orientation for guests who want to understand how the different elements can fit into one evening.
Its evidential value is limited: cast, queues, mazes and story can change from season to season. For 2026, the official dates, age rules and ticket conditions remain decisive; external reports should be read as personal impressions.
