Walibi Holland has confirmed the return of Halloween Fright Nights in 2026. As of 19 August 2026, however, the individual event dates and opening hours have not been announced. The official season calendar says that this information will follow later. The full programme for the new season also remains unpublished.
Dates for 2026
Current status: Walibi Holland has not yet announced the dates for Halloween Fright Nights 2026.
The official event page only confirms that Eddie and his Freaks will return in 2026. The opening calendar does not list any Fright Nights dates yet. Unofficial calendars or weekends extrapolated from the previous season are therefore not a reliable basis for booking.
International visitors should wait for the official dates before booking non-refundable accommodation and travel. Weekends and dates close to 31 October can attract particularly strong demand.
What is already confirmed for 2026
The 2026 season passes provide the first reliable indication of the ticket model. According to the current terms, a standard Walibi Pass includes two visits to Halloween Fright Nights in 2026. Advance reservations are required and capacity remains limited for each date. The separate Halloween Fright Nights Plus option is intended to provide access to every Fright Nights date.
Walibi currently lists the regular Walibi Pass at €105 per person. The Halloween Fright Nights Plus upgrade costs an additional €27.50. This is primarily relevant to guests who want to attend more than two evenings. Day tickets, individual event prices and possible add-on packages for 2026 have not yet been published in full.
What visitors can expect
Halloween Fright Nights combines evening theme-park operations with scare zones, live performers, shows and separately staged horror attractions. Eddie, the event’s long-running clown character, remains part of the presentation according to the current announcement.
The haunted houses, walkthroughs and experiences that will actually operate in 2026 have not been confirmed. The 2025 edition included US vs YOU, The Villa, Jefferson Manor and Psychoshock, alongside several freely accessible scare zones. These names are included only as a look back: Walibi may change attractions, stories and operating formats for 2026.
Admission and add-on costs: the previous model
One distinction matters when planning a visit. During the most recently documented edition, the scare zones were included with park admission. Haunted houses, experiences and walkthroughs required separate, date-specific online tickets. A ticket for an add-on attraction did not replace the park admission ticket.
Walibi has not yet confirmed whether this model will remain unchanged in 2026. Once the programme is released, guests should check three elements separately:
- Admission or a reservation for the selected Fright Nights date
- Add-on tickets and time slots for haunted houses or experiences
- Terms of any Fast Lane or R.I.P. package
Visitor reports from 2025 repeatedly mention long waits and recommend planning popular houses early. Such reports describe individual visits and do not guarantee how the 2026 event will operate.
Age guidance and intensity
In 2025, Walibi did not impose a formal minimum age for the entire event, but said Halloween Fright Nights was unsuitable for visitors under 16. Individual experiences may have their own admission rules. The 2026 requirements need to be checked again when they are published.
The evening event is clearly designed for a horror-ready audience. Loud effects, darkness, fog, intense performer interactions and crowded areas can be demanding even for adults. In previous years, Walibi offered the considerably more family-friendly Halloween Spooky Days during daytime hours; their 2026 dates are also still pending.
Editorial assessment
The combination of major rides, scare zones and unusual add-on experiences makes Halloween Fright Nights one of the notable theme-park Halloween events in the Netherlands. Biddinghuizen can work as a short trip for visitors from neighbouring countries, although the location and late closing hours make accommodation worth considering.
The likely cost of add-on attractions is the central planning issue. Guests who mainly want the atmosphere, rides and freely accessible scare zones will approach the evening differently from visitors who want to complete as many houses as possible. A reliable recommendation for a particular 2026 date will only be possible after Walibi publishes its calendar, programme and day-ticket prices.
Looking back: 25 years of Halloween Fright Nights
Walibi Holland celebrated the 25th anniversary of Halloween Fright Nights in 2025. The official retrospective video presents the park’s own view of the event and conveys its scale, characters and stage atmosphere. It does not document the still-unknown programme for 2026.
