More than 1,200 guests, multiple areas and XXL decorations: on October 31, 2026, the XXL Halloween Festival is set to transform Hamburg’s Nordwandhalle into a large Halloween party venue. Here are the tickets, prices, age limit, location and what can actually be verified about previous editions.

What does “XXL” mean?
The 2026 event advertises multiple areas, multiple DJs, large-scale Halloween decorations, special effects and surprises. The promoter calls it Hamburg’s biggest Halloween party and advertises more than 1,200 guests. That figure is a promoter claim, not an independently counted BESO attendance figure.
For horror fans, one distinction matters: no traditional horror maze or fixed scare-actor concept is currently advertised. This is primarily a large Halloween party, not automatically a haunted attraction.
The venue: Halloween inside a climbing hall
The 2026 edition is not taking place in a conventional nightclub but at Nordwand in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg. Hamburg Tourism describes the regular venue as a modern climbing hall with around 3,500 m² of climbing wall and wall heights of up to 17 metres. It has not been published how much of the facility will actually be used for the party, but the venue clearly sets this edition apart from a standard club night.
This makes the festival especially relevant if you want a large 18+ Halloween party in an unusual venue with multiple areas and event-scale production. It should not be confused with a haunted attraction if your priority is a horror maze or actor-led experience.
Ticket tiers
The lowest ticket tiers are already changing. In our October 4, 2026 update, the Early Bird ticket was no longer available. Eventim listed the Basic ticket at €21 and the five-person group ticket at €66. Booking and delivery fees may also apply. Eventim currently marks demand as high, so prices and available categories can change again.
Was there an XXL Halloween Festival in 2025?
Yes. A previous Hamburg edition is documented for October 31, 2025, when the event was advertised with more than 1,000 guests and elaborate Halloween decorations. A Hamburg event guide placed the 2025 edition at Player in Altona and also mentioned a candy bar, spooky shots and a costume contest.
That also highlights an important change: the 2026 edition is at Nordwandhalle. Details from the previous venue should therefore not automatically be assumed for 2026.
