Costume & dress code: what should you wear?
The look is a central part of Vivid Canvas de Muertos. The organiser explicitly distances the event from carnival, a traditional masked ball and a horror attraction. The brief is fashion, transformation and performance, mixing pop culture, cinema, cartoons, haute couture, beauty and kinky aesthetics. A generic costume therefore fits less well than a deliberately styled character. The Best Outfit Contest rewards the idea, attitude and overall effect rather than simply the most expensive outfit.
Music, drinks & food
The announced soundtrack is Afro-Latino beats. Drinks mentioned include Pisco Sour, Bloody Mary and Espresso Martini, alongside selected South American food. The event runs from 8 pm to midnight, making it more compact than a typical all-night club party.
Putting Vivid Canvas de Muertos into context
The format is not entirely new: according to the organiser, Vivid Canvas de Muertos has existed for three years as a private Halloween night. In 2026 it opens beyond that private circle for the first time. That also explains why there is little verifiable public recap material or independent visitor feedback so far. It is better understood as a curated fashion/performance night than a conventional Halloween club party.
