Under the Castle is much more than a simple Halloween collaboration at Ocean Park Hong Kong in 2026. Jackson Wang’s TEAM WANG design horror-fantasy world gets its own Haunted Experience, a themed dark ride, games, food, merchandise and additional VIP/FastTrack options.
Ocean Park Halloween 2026: Under the Castle dates
The Under the Castle Haunted Experience runs on:
October 9–11, 16–19, 23–25, 30–31 and November 1, 2026.
The experience is open from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm and is located at The Summit near Bumper Blaster.
What is the Under the Castle Haunted Experience?
Ocean Park transforms Jackson Wang’s horror-fantasy IP into a dedicated walk-through Halloween attraction. The world of Pumpkie and Spookie combines gothic fashion, ghosts and castle imagery with a stylised horror aesthetic.
The attraction builds on earlier Under the Castle projects, including the haunted house created for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Singapore in 2024. The Hong Kong version is a new production made specifically for Ocean Park.
Dark ride: Bumper Blaster becomes part of Under the Castle
Bumper Blaster is also integrated into the Under the Castle world for Halloween. The ride receives a ghostly green-lit treatment with light-and-shadow effects and hidden scare moments.
Access to individual themed attractions may be capacity-limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Nightmare Game Booths and roaming characters
From September 24, the Nightmare Game Booths open at Thrill Mountain. Visitors can play carnival-style games and win exclusive Pumpkie and Spookie plush prizes.
Ocean Park also announces roaming “nightmare messengers” who interact with guests through mini-games and hand out stickers.
Under the Castle pop-up store and merchandise
The Under the Castle Pop-up Store opens in the park from October 7, 2026. It sells clothing and merchandise from the collaboration between TEAM WANG design and Ocean Park.
Under the Castle food
On Halloween event days, themed food and drinks are available at the Under the Castle food tent near Clown Corner from 5:00 pm.
Tickets, Plus+ VIP Access and Halloween FastTrack
Ocean Park distinguishes between general Halloween Fest offerings and paid upgrades. For Under the Castle, the park offers Plus+ VIP Access as well as a special Halloween Ocean FasTrack covering priority access to selected Halloween experiences, including Under the Castle.
The Halloween Ocean FasTrack currently costs HK$620 for regular visitors, while annual members pay HK$558. Prices and availability may change.
Other horror attractions at Ocean Park Halloween Fest 2026
Under the Castle is part of a much larger Halloween Fest programme. Ocean Park also lists attractions including Voodoo Boo Terror Park, Troublesome Night 8, Forbidden Asylum and the OPPA Scaremonies show.
That makes Under the Castle more than a single haunted house: it is a central themed world inside a much broader horror event.
Why Under the Castle is interesting for horror and scare-acting fans
The combination of fashion aesthetics and horror performance is what makes the concept stand out. The world relies less on realistic splatter and more on silhouettes, controlled posing, dramatic lighting and the contrast between cute characters and dark transformations.
For scare actors, it is a useful example of how a strong visual IP can be translated into several formats at once: haunted experience, ride, roaming characters, games and merchandise all support the same fictional world.

What began as an early collaboration announcement has developed into a clearly structured Halloween offering. Under the Castle runs across 14 event days from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm and extends well beyond the central haunted experience.
Jackson Wang and TEAM WANG design fans get a full themed world, while horror fans can combine Under the Castle with the other haunted experiences across Ocean Park Halloween Fest.
