The full Knott’s Scary Farm 2026 line-up has now been revealed. Alongside eight returning mazes, two brand-new haunted houses join the event: Inked and Unearthed. The season also brings five scare zones, new entertainment and more than 1,000 creatures across Knott’s Berry Farm.
Knott’s Scary Farm 2026 dates
Knott’s Scary Farm runs on selected nights from September 17 to October 31, 2026. The event takes place at Knott’s Berry Farm, 8039 Beach Boulevard in Buena Park, California.
Scary Farm is a separately ticketed nighttime event and is not automatically included with standard daytime park admission.

Ten haunted mazes are confirmed for 2026:

New maze Inked: killer cartoons from the 1930s
Inked follows Mortimer Morbid, a failed cartoonist and former head of the fictional Morbid Studios. When blood becomes ink, his creations come to life and a final Halloween special turns into a world of murderous cartoons.
The concept combines classic rubber-hose cartoon imagery with splatter horror, making it one of the most visually unusual new mazes of the season.
New maze Unearthed: horror at an excavation site
In Unearthed, a search-and-rescue team arrives at a devastated archaeological base. Ancient tablets have awakened a forgotten and malevolent force beneath the site.
The story leans into archaeology, tombs and ancient-evil horror, creating a strong contrast with the cartoon style of Inked.
5 scare zones in 2026
The five scare zones are also officially confirmed:
- CarnEVIL
- Ghost Town Streets
- Forsaken Lake
- The Gauntlet
- The Gore-ing ’20s
Ghost Town Streets is especially interesting for scare-actor fans because of its famous sliders, dense fog and open-space performance style, which works very differently from a linear maze.
Shows and entertainment: Occultum is new
Knott’s confirms several entertainment offerings:
- NEW: Occultum – dark magic, illusion and sleight of hand curated by The Magic Castle.
- The Hanging – the bloody western satire returns.
- NEW: Voodoo: Bayou’s Edge – a darker entertainment concept inspired by Marie Laveau and Baron Samedi.
Knott’s Scary Farm tickets 2026
Single-night tickets currently start at $65 plus possible taxes. The Scary Farm 2026 Pass costs $164 and covers the full season.
Fright & Fast Lane starts at $139 and provides priority access to mazes and selected rides. Important: regular event admission is not included.
Boo-fet, Midnight Breakfast Buffet and the Very Important Monster Tour are available as separate upgrades.
More than 1,000 creatures
Knott’s promotes the 2026 season with more than 1,000 creatures across the park. The combination of mazes, open scare zones and live shows makes Scary Farm especially valuable for anyone interested in comparing different styles of horror performance.
Age guidance and visitor rules
Knott’s Scary Farm is not recommended for children under 13, and every guest needs a separate event ticket.
Special rules also apply to costumes, bags and chaperones. International visitors should check these directly with the park before buying tickets.
Verdict
With Inked and Unearthed, Knott’s delivers two very different new mazes in 2026 and combines them with eight established houses. Five scare zones and several new or returning shows make the line-up far more complete than it appeared when tickets first went on sale.
For trip planning, compare the event date, base ticket price and Fast Lane upgrades early, especially if your priority is completing as many mazes as possible.
