Julien Bam in Munich: What is confirmed for Halloween?

Mars describes the activation as the finale of M&M’S’ biggest Halloween campaign in Germany to date. After the campaign launch in September, a two-day pop-up store in Munich on October 30 and 31 is planned – explicitly with Julien Bam.

For fans, the timing is especially interesting because the second day falls directly on Halloween, Saturday, October 31, 2026. M&M’S has not yet specified whether there will be fixed appearance times, a meet & greet, registration or unrestricted access to the store.

What do we still not know about the M&M’S pop-up?

The official announcement still leaves several practical questions unanswered:

  • the exact location in Munich
  • the opening hours on October 30 and 31
  • whether entry is free or requires registration
  • when exactly Julien Bam will be there
  • whether a meet & greet or other fan activities are planned

As soon as M&M’S or Julien Bam publish these details, we will add them here. If you are planning to visit, check the latest information again before travelling.

What is behind Julien Bam’s M&M’S Halloween project?

Julien Bam is the official M&M’S Halloween Ambassador for 2026. The campaign runs from mid-September through October 31 and combines classic advertising with social-media content and real-world activations.

To kick things off, M&M’S and Julien Bam hosted a “Summerween” party at Clärchens Ballhaus in Berlin on September 15. A follow-up report says around 150 creatively costumed guests attended. The event included Halloween decorations, special-effects wound makeup, a throwing-game station, a photo booth and an M&M’S vending machine.

This means the campaign moved beyond the announcement stage: its first major offline activation actually took place. A digital Halloween countdown followed, covering costumes, decorations, movie nights, parties and trick-or-treating, supported by content across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest.

The Munich pop-up is therefore not just another shop during Halloween weekend, but the planned finale of the multi-week campaign.

And yes, this is also a major marketing campaign. If you enjoy influencer collaborations and big brand activations, this delivers exactly that; if you are more sceptical about the commercialisation of Halloween, an eye-roll is perfectly understandable. What matters most to us at BESO is that Halloween is becoming more visible, bigger and more established in Germany. Today’s Halloween culture – costumes, candy, decorations and pop culture – has been closely connected to commerce for decades anyway. In the end, we are mostly happy when more people discover Halloween, dress up, get creative and fall in love with this wonderfully strange holiday.

And the enthusiasm may genuinely extend beyond the campaign itself: according to an M&M’S-commissioned survey conducted by Weber Shandwick in August 2026 among 1,007 adults in Germany, almost two thirds say they look forward to Halloween every year, while 43% would like to celebrate Halloween more than once a year.
