What happens at the Jack the Ripper horror dinner?
The Original Gruseldinner combines theatre and dinner. “Jack the Ripper” moves the story into a dark London setting with a cemetery, suspicious characters and the question of whether the Ripper can be exposed during the evening.
The format is closer to a horror comedy and interactive dinner show than a haunted house. There are no traditional maze scare actors; instead, actors perform the story between courses.
Video: official “Jack the Ripper” trailer
The official Original Gruseldinner trailer shows the tone of the production: dark London, crime, theatre and black humor rather than classic haunted-house scares.
Four-course menu at Hotel Schwarzer Bär
The ticket includes a four-course menu. The Jena date lists a themed starter salad, pumpkin soup, lasagne or a vegetarian alternative, and panna cotta for dessert. Vegetarian and vegan ticket variants are also offered by the organizer.
