At the end of October, Berlin Dungeon gets even darker than usual. For Halloween 2026, Blackout nights are scheduled for 30 and 31 October 2026, taking adult guests through an almost completely dark scare maze after regular opening hours.
Berlin Dungeon Blackout 2026: key information
- Dates: 30 and 31 October 2026
- Location: Berlin Dungeon, Spandauer Straße 2, Berlin
- Age: 18+
- Duration: around 30–80 minutes according to Berlin Dungeon
- Concept: a scare maze in near-total darkness with live actors
How is Blackout different from the regular Berlin Dungeon?
The regular Dungeon experience combines Berlin history with live performance, sets and dark humour. Blackout shifts the focus towards direct scares: very little light, small groups and scare actors using the darkness for unexpected encounters. The special takes place after regular daytime operations and is for adults only.
Who is Blackout for?
Blackout is aimed primarily at adult horror and scare fans who want a more intense experience than the regular Dungeon tour. Berlin Dungeon warns that several senses may be overwhelmed at once, including by complete darkness and an intense soundscape. Guests must show valid ID; according to the organiser, the event is not wheelchair accessible for safety reasons.
